3.5 Weeks

Alexander is now 3.5 weeks. My parents came out for almost a week and left on Thursday evening. It was so great having them here. It was nice for my dad to meet Alexander and brush up on his newborn baby skills...and my mom is wonderful with Alexander and is was nice to be able to hand him off to Noni when he was crying and come back 10 minutes later and he was "playing" or sleeping. I already miss them. It really made me want to be near my family :( We also went out to Southold and spent a few days with Dan's mom. It was the battle of the grandmothers for Alexander's affection.."Ya-Ya vs Noni"...lol...:) Now everything is back to normal..just me at home with the crying baby all day...luckily Chapel is coming for a few days next weekend. She was supposed to come this weekend, but she was sick and had to reschedule. I can't wait to see her. Alexander is now rolling over from his back to his side..he is also smiling at us (we think..we refuse to believe that it is gas!)..he is also less fussy than a few weeks ago because we changed his supplemental formula from Similac to Nestle....and he also perks up at the sound of a rattle.. and that is all of the "excitement" in my world at the moment. :)

You guys look like a stroller ad in a magazine in the beach picture. Alexander looks like such a strong, handsome little guy! This blog entry made me sentimental that our babies are growing up too fast. Quick! Press "pause"!
